How to Create a Venue?

Create Venue Taxonomies

Firstly create venue taxonomies before start to create a event.

  1. Go to the ‘Venus > Locations’ from the admin panel menu. You can create locations from this page.
  2. Go to the ‘Venues > Tags’ from the admin panel menu. You can create tags from this page.
  3. Go to the ‘Venues > Venue Categories’ from the admin panel menu. You can create categories from this page.

How to Create a Venue?

  1. Go to the ‘Venues > Add New Venue’ from the admin panel menu.
  2. Enter a venue name from the ‘Title’ field.
  3. Enter a content about venue from the ‘Content’ field. Look this article you want to use WPBakery Page Builder on the ‘Content’ field.
  4. Choose locations from the ‘Locations’ field.
  5. Choose tags from the ‘Tags’ field.
  6. Choose categories from the ‘Venue Categories’ field.
  7. Upload a image for the venue from the ‘Featured Image’ field.
  8. Scroll to the ‘Excerpt’ field. You can enter a short description for the venue. (If you can’t see the field, you can activate the field from the ‘Screen Options’ at the top of the page.). This text will show on the venue listing elements.

How to Add Venue Details?

  1. Scroll to the ‘Venue Details’ field.
  2. Open the ‘General Details’ tab. You can create working hours, extra details, sidebar boxes etc. from here.
  3. Open the ‘Contact’ tab. You can create contact details from this tab.
  4. Open the ‘Venue Header’ tab. You can create featured header from here. Image, video, gallery etc.
  5. Open the ‘Media’ tab. You can customize media options from here. Page title background, gallery etc.
  6. You can upload a page title bar background from the ‘Page Title Bar Background’ field.¬†Recommended size: 1920×350.
  7. Open the ‘Network’ tab. You can create social links from this tab.
  8. You can choose locations from the ‘Locations’ field.
  9. You can choose categories from the ‘Location Categories’ field.
  10. You can choose tags from the ‘Tags’ field.
