How to Create Event Taxonomies?

Create event taxonomies before create an event:

  1. Go the ‘Events > Locations’ page. You can create all locations for the venues and the events.
  2. Go the ‘Events > Organizers’ page. You can create event organizers.
  3. Go the ‘Events > Tags’ page. The events and the venues keywords.
  4. Go the ‘Events > Event Categories’ page. You can create event categories from this page.

How to Create an Event?

  1. After create the taxonomies, go to the ‘Events > Add New Event’ from the admin panel menu.
  2. Enter an event title from the ‘Title’ field.
  3. Next enter a event content from the ‘Content’ field. If you want to use in the ‘Content’ field look this article.
  4. Choose event locations from the ‘Location’ field.
  5. Choose event organizers from the ‘Organizers’ field.
  6. Choose event tags from the ‘Tags’ field.
  7. Choose event categories from the ‘Event Categories’ field.
  8. Upload an event image from the ‘Featured Image’ field.
  9. Scroll to the ‘Excerpt’ field. You can enter a short description for the event. (If you can’t see the field, you can activate the field from the ‘Screen Options’ at the top of the page.). This text will show on the event listing elements.

How to Create Event Details?

Scroll to the ‘Event Details’ field. You can create all details for the event from this panel. Look following guides for get information.

Open the ‘General Details’ tab. You can create general details from this panel.

  1. Enter an event start date from the ‘Start Date’ field. Example format: 2018-08-26 (Don’t enter any letter or time with any format).
  2. Enter an event start time from the ‘Start Time’ field. Example format: 18:00  (Don’t enter any letter or time with any format).
  3. Enter an event end date from the ‘End Date’ field. Example format: 2018-08-26 (Don’t enter any letter or time with any format).
  4. Enter an event end time from the ‘End Time’ field. Example format: 18:00 (Don’t enter any letter or time with any format).
  5. Enter an expire date from the ‘Expire Date’ field. Example format: 2018-12-31 16:00 (Don’t enter any letter or time with any format). If you will choose to the ‘Hide Expired Events’ on the elements it works. So the event will hide when this time.
  6. If you want to show attendees of the event, you set from the ‘Attendees’ field. It works as manual or automatic.
  7. Choose a listing type from the ‘Event Content Listing Type’ field. This type is related to event details style. You can choose ‘Tab’ or ‘Section’ type. If you choose the ‘Section’, all content listing will listing. If you choose the ‘Tab’, all content will showing on a tab system.
  8. The ‘Tabs and Sections’ field is important. Event detail comes without any details. You can create event details from here. Click on the ‘Add New’ and create details (Speakers, schedule, text content etc.). Each item is for each content.
  9. You can choose all speakers of the event from the ‘Speakers’ field.
  10. You can create a FAQ area from the ‘FAQ’ field.
  11. You can create extra events details from the ‘Extra Event Details’ field. This details will show on the ‘Event Details’ field.
  12. You can create buttons for the sidebar from the ‘Sidebar Buttons’ field.
  13. You can create unlimited boxes for the sidebar from the ‘Sidebar Boxes’ field.

How to Create an Event Schedule?

  1. Open the ‘Schedule’ tab from the ‘Event Details’ field.
  2. Choose a schedule style from the ‘Schedule Style’ field.
  3. Next, you can create schedule items from the ‘Schedule’ field. You can follow the steps and create items from here.

How to Create Contact Details?

Open the ‘Contact’ tab. You can create contact information and maps from here.

  1. Choose a venue from the ‘Venue’ field. This venue will show on the listing elements. So, it will be primary venue of the event.
  2. You can enter an event address from the ‘Detailed Address’ field. (You can enter the address of the event. If you enter map lat and lng coordinates, will show standard map. If you enter the coordinates, will show designed map.)
  3. You can enter a phone number from the ‘Phone Number’ field.
  4. You can enter a fax number from the ‘Fax Number’ field.
  5. You can enter an email address from the ‘Email Address’ field.
  6. You can enter event lat coordinate of the event from the ‘Map Lat’ field.
  7. You can enter event lng coordinate of the event from the ‘Map Lng’ field.
  8. You can enter a map zoom value from the ‘Map Zoom’ field. (You can change default zoom value from Theme Settings > Events > Map page.)
  9. You can choose a map style from the ‘Map Style’ field.
  10. Enter a Google Street View URL from the ‘Google Street View Link’ field. (You can look this article for get an information how to create a Google Street View.)

How to Create Event Tickets?

How to Create Event Header?

Open the ‘Event Header’ tab from the ‘Event Details’ field. You can create a featured header field from here. (Image gallery, image slider, image, video, audio, HTML code fields)

How to Add Page Title Bar Background?

Open the ‘Media’ tab from the ‘Event Details’ field. You can upload a background image from the ‘Page Title Bar Background’ field.

How to Create an Image Gallery?

Open the ‘Media’ tab from the ‘Event Details’ field. You can gallery images from the ‘Photos for the Photos Tab/Section’ field. You can change column and column space settings from this tab.

How to Create Event Sponsors?

Open the ‘Sponsors’ tab from the ‘Event Details’ field. You can create event sponsors and customize the design of the sponsors from here.

How to Create Event Listing Labels?

  1. Open the ‘Labels’ tab from the ‘Event Details’ field.
  2. Choose ‘On’ from the ‘Status of the Labels’ field.
  3. Next, click on the ‘Add New’ button. You can create a label from here. You can create unlimited labels for event listing element.

How to Add Social Media Links for the Event?

Open the ‘Network’ tab. You can create social media links from this tab.
